Established in 2014 in response to a perceived niche in the market, especially in Canterbury, Solar Eco-Cabins Ltd construct quality eco-friendly small living spaces.  All our cabins are built with non-chemically-treated but top quality materials.  Our aim is to supply a reasonably priced but good looking alternative to other small buildings on the market.  All our cabins can be custom built to the customer's requirements, in size, facilities, and flexibility in whether completely off the grid, still able to be connected to the grid, or a mixture of both.

Cabins

Our cabins are made from quality, New Zealand grown and milled Oregon timber. Oregon does not require any treatment with the poisons and chemicals used in ground treated timber.  It can last in it's raw state for at least 20 years and if desired, it can be oiled for an even longer life.  We use Oregon for all framing and cladding on our cabins.
